Just  thought I'd share a couple of things I bought today at the mall.

Foundation!

So I wanted to try out a new foundation. I heard about revlon colorstay and I decided to try it out. The revlon colostay I bought in the combination oily and color: cappuccino. I tried it on and it was way too dark for me. If I had bought the next shade lighter(caramel), it would have been way too light for me. So for a con, I would have to say that there is not a wide color range. I also noticed in the store that cappuccino in the normal to dry formula was lighter than the combo oily cappuccino ????However it is a good foundation and I would recommend to anyone that can find their color match.

I also bought the iman liquid radiance foundation in the shade earth 1. I knew since the name has "radiance" in it that there would be some shimmer in it, but this foundation had way tooo much shimmer. I tried it on and it looked like I sprayed my face in gold!! I have tried the revlon photo ready and that foundation also contains shimmer, but the iman foundation beat that by far. Needless to say I returned it asap.

The next foundations I would like to try are Nars sheer matte, Makeup Forever HD, and Bobbi Brown natural finish long lasting. The only thing keeping me from buying them now is the price, but one day soon *sighs*

So over the past few days, I did some shopping and I bought a few things. I was looking for a nude lipstick that would look good on me, so I did some research and found a few Mac lipsticks : Fresh brew, Siss(discontinued), Freckletone. The 1 that I decided to buy was Fresh Brew. I also bought a 217 blending brush. Then I went to ULTA and I bought L'Oreal Infallible lip gloss in 515 Undeniable Mauve. I did do a makeup look using these items. I recreated MakeupbyLeinaBaaaby's look on YouTube in the video "Rihanna Club Makeup" using the colors that I have. Here are some pictures:

I used my 120 color palette that I bought on Ebay. The liner is Maybelline Line Stiletto. Mascara: Maybelline the colossal volume express.  On the lips I'm wearing Mac Fresh brew and over it I have l'oreal undeniable mauve. Hope you like!

Hey guys, I'm Quiana aka KiKi. This is my 1st blog and I created this because I want to blog about makeup. I really started getting into makeup this past summer. I was on YouTube for hours just watching videos from beauty gurus. I've been doing some experimenting of my own and I have noticed that my makeup skills have great improved.
